Global Recycled Standard
The Global Recycle Standard is a standard that recognizes the importance of recycling for the development of a sustainable production and consumption model, with the goal of promoting a reduction in resource consumption (virgin raw materials, water, and energy) and improving the quality of recycled products.
PAS 24000:2022
Technical Specification (Publicly Available Specification) certified by the independent body Bureau Veritas, attesting to the compliance of Gastaldi Textile Industry's management system. The certification covers the design and production of bed and bath linens for the hospitality, food service, and private sectors, encompassing the internal processes of warping, weaving, bleaching, dyeing of yarns and fabrics, and finishing.
UNI EN ISO 9001:2001 – Quality Management System

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for the entire textile industry—from raw materials to semi-finished goods and finished products—covering all stages of production.
Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)
Better Cotton is the world's largest cotton sustainability program. Gastaldi Textile Industry participates in the initiative, which promotes cotton farming practices that are more responsible from an environmental, social, and economic standpoint, to protect farmers, communities, and the environment.
Global Organic Textile Standard
The Global Organic Textile Standard is a technical standard for the certification of organic textiles, supported internationally by some of the leading organizations that promote organic agriculture worldwide.
Association membership
Gastaldi is a member of SMI – Sistema Moda Italia, Confindustria Como, and AIFL – the Italian Association of Laundry Suppliers. Membership in these organizations represents a concrete commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability in the textile supply chain and industrial laundry services.
